The 2025 Kia Sorento debuts: Refined design, additional features, with a converted price starting at 671 million VND
The lightly upgraded 2025 Kia Sorento version has just been introduced to the Korean market.
In early September, the mid-size SUV Kia Sorento, which is a key model for Kia, received its 2025 update in the Korean market. The car was immediately put on sale with several notable improvements compared to the current version to maintain its competitiveness.
First, all versions of the 2025 Kia Sorento are now equipped with a vibration sensor on the steering wheel to support smart features. LED lights have also been added to the sun visor area on the windshield. The smart power tailgate, previously available only on higher trims, has been standardized following positive feedback from users.
Additionally, the number of features in the vehicle has been increased with new additions such as an upgraded digital key, touch-sensitive door handles, and a fingerprint reader. For those purchasing the premium version of the 2025 Kia Sorento, these new features and equipment come pre-installed.
The digital rearview mirror, which was previously an optional feature on the highest trim, is now available on lower trims. The "special" Gravity version includes some unique elements not found in other versions, such as dark suede interior trim and door sills that contrast with the exterior body color.
The starting price for the 2025 Kia Sorento is approximately $27,000, which is equivalent to 671.3 million VND after conversion.
In the first half of this year, the 2025 Kia Sorento became the best-selling car in South Korea and is likely to maintain this position until the end of 2024. There was only one month this year when the Sorento lost its title as the best-selling vehicle, and notably, the model that surpassed Sorento was another Kia product: the Carnival.
