Real-life images of the 2025 Audi A6 priced at 2.299 billion VND in Vietnam: Upgraded sporty package, new engine, and additional technology to compete with the E-Class
The updated Audi A6, recently launched in Vietnam, features a sportier exterior but is equipped with a smaller engine, serving as a transitional model before the introduction of the new electric-powered generation.
The 2025 Audi A6 has arrived at dealerships, marking a refresh in terms of equipment rather than a comprehensive overhaul. Earlier, Audi Vietnam announced the starting price for this model at 2.299 billion VND.
With this pricing, the Audi A6 has a higher starting price than its competitors in the same segment, such as the BMW 5-Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class. For example, the standard BMW 520i is listed at 2.499 billion VND but is currently discounted to 1.979 billion VND at dealerships, while the standard Mercedes-Benz E 180 is listed at 1.889 billion VND.
Compared to the previous version of the Audi A6, the new model comes with the S line sports package, enhancing its look with details like sportier front and rear bumpers, a honeycomb grille, and 19-inch dual five-spoke wheels. However, unlike the sportier versions of the A4, Q3, or Q5, this A6 retains chrome details instead of adopting a blacked-out aesthetic. The front lighting system features intelligent matrix technology, improving illumination and aesthetics.
Inside, the most notable upgrade is the 12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus digital instrument cluster. The center console houses dual touchscreens, measuring 10.1 inches and 8.6 inches, supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
The front seats are power-adjustable with a memory function for the driver’s seat. Despite the S line package, the car lacks sport seats. Other interior features include a four-zone automatic climate control system and rear sunshades. However, this version does not come with a sunroof.
The engine has been downsized for this model, offering less power. Specifically, it uses a 2.0L mild-hybrid engine, delivering a maximum output of 190 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. The manufacturer claims fuel consumption of approximately 6.5 liters/100 km.
In terms of safety technology, the 2025 Audi A6 includes ADAS features such as lane departure warning and intelligent matrix high beams. Additionally, it is equipped with a 360-degree camera system, parking assist, cruise control, and a speed limiter.
The arrival of the 2025 Audi A6 in Vietnam early this year is expected to increase competition for the BMW 5-Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, which have not seen significant upgrades in a while. However, without major innovations, the A6 risks falling behind as the 5-Series and E-Class are anticipated to debut their latest generations in 2025.
